Hello Everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows if you take your blood pressurePressure ulcer while experiencing pvc's, will it make the reading higher, or will you get a false reading? I have white coat syndrome that I now have while taking my pressurePressure ulcer at home too. I have been under a lot of stress lately & having a lot of pvc's. I took my pressurePressure ulcer while experiencing pvc's & it was high. I waited a while, and took it when they had subsided, and it was 10 points lower. Has anyone experienced this or have knowledge about it. By the way, I have been having pvc's for 35 years, and they I'm still not used to them. Thank you for any help.
I take it that "white coat syndrome" means your BP goes up whenever a doctor/nurse comes into the room to take you BP. I hear that is commonCommon cold, but not one of my problems.
Looks like you're blazing a new trail, taking BP while suffering PVC episodes. I'd think someone has an experience to share, and just hasn't read read your post. It seems to me that any rhythm problem would have an effect on HR and BP measurements. Clearly AFib makes the HR jump up/down/around, but I can't say it has any affect on the BP, at least my BP readings are about the same AFib or Sinus...wish it was back to Sinus...
