Borderline EKG

I received a copy of my EKG report but was never told there was anything wrong.  I had chest pain and went to ER, subsequently admitted for observation and discharged with nothing being told anything was wrong.
Here are the test Findings:
Vent rate 60
PR interval 118
QRS duration 80
Q-T/Q-Tc      452/452
R - Axis        -4
Findings:Sinus rhythm, low-voltage QRS. Some nonspecific ST-T wave changes.
Interpretation:
Interpretation: Borderline EKG with findings above, for which there are no priors available for comparison.

I'm not sure what all the data means, but I to take away from your experience:
1) nothing serious as the doctor didn't tell you to take any follow up action
2) be sure to keep the EKG if it isn't with your regular doctor, this will "fix" the comment about nothing to compare the reading too.  Change is often more important than the specific numbers, I believe.

For sure, don't get into a state of Anxiety over the comment "borderline", that will just complicate your situation.

Absent any symptoms I'd just go on with life and get a full physical check-up every few years, if you're under 40, and every year if over 40.  My regular "primary care" physical exam includes a EKG, that even given I have a regular cardiologist where my heart is specifically treated/watched.  I am way over 40.
