Your blood pressure is rather high and should be looked into ASAP. In the meantime, try to take it easy and avoid over-exerting yourself. Also, avoid all stimulants (caffeine, nicotine, OTC cold medicine, etc.) and stay away from alcohol, as it can also raise your bp. However, if you drink regularly, do not stop abruptly, as this can lead to severely high bp. I have some quick and simple things that you can do when your blood pressure is too high, but I feel uneasy about sharing them with you because I do not know your medical history and because I am not a doctor. Hang in there, and don't hesitate to visit the ER if it gets too high.

Just wondering if you're ok and went to the ER or doctor yet. Please do so ASAP!
Hope you've gotten the BP checked out at the ER, or at least made an appointment with your cardiologist.
As for the BP monitor not registering, mine will not work when I'm having PVCs. I think the extra beats throw the monitor out of whack.
Let us know what you find out.

Did you go tot he ER or make a Dr's apt? I have HBP too and those are high numbers. All of the symptoms you are describing can be broguht on by HBP -- dixxy, sick to your stomach, blurred vision. You wont believe how much better you feel once you get on some medication to bring it down. Please go.
Yes- go to the ER. Not to scare you or anything, but you may be understating/over-coping a bit, here. The fact that you have high BP and tach could be a bad combination to through clots, especially with your history of PE. Please let us know how you fair. :)

I would go to the ER..... that is very high for BP
Sounds like you have high blood pressure, please go back to the doctor as soon as possible. You sound like me, I have tachycardia too and stopped taking my blood pressure and heart rate on the home device because it causes more stress. My blood pressure is way lower than yours, but the doctor says that I have high blood pressure even though I have many normal readings, like 127-136 high number and 75-90 low number. So, if they say I have high blood pressure, you surely do. Maybee someone else can say how doctors determine high blood pressure, as I have had normal blood pressure more often, normal meaning 120/80. My heart rate is always high too, 200 is really high and you need to check it out. I am in the same boat so can't advise wisely, as I am on medication to lower my heart rate which it does not, and suppossed to lower my blood pressure which is still sometimes high so I know your concern. But, you do need to see a doctor about both your heart rate and blood pressure right away.
Let us know how you are.
