Cardio cath recovery

by Candyt1965, Oct 02, 2008 09:15PM
I went to the ER in June 08, due to feeling like I was having a heart attack.  I had a cardio cath performed and much to my releif I had nothing wrong with my heart and I quit smoking.  My  problem is, I stll have trouble with my right leg to this day.
I get a pain that runs from groin to knee and sometimes to the foot. I visited my regular Doctor in July and in August, he said everything looks good. What could be the reason and/ or problem?

I have not idea as my experience, I've had two cardio-cath and I hardly got a bruise.  I don't recall any pain or discomfort after the cath came out.  There was, as the doc says:  a "pinch" when the entry was made and maybe removed.  On the second cath study, it was longer as they were looking both for blockage and at my mitral valve, I was never under, just had a "relaxant"

My experience says you have some other source for your problem, or there was/is some internal damage.
