Catheter ablation for afib. Chest tightness

Hi, I am a 16 year old female and I went under a catheter ablation for my Afib 3 weeks ago. They destroyed one of the two pathways in my heart. Since then I've been experiencing a lot of chest pain. More recently I'm having a lot of chest tightness, like my chest is being pushed together. I have high anxiety so my mind immediately thinks I'm going to have a heart attack. I went to the cardiologist a week ago and they took an ultrasound and said my heart looked strong and healthy. Has anyone else experienced chest pain from catheter ablation? More specifically chest tightness? I would like to know so I can calm my nerves

Some discomfort is usual after an AF ablation as a small amount of your heart was zapped by RF or frozen depending on what tools were used.  It takes time for complete healing.  90 days is probably what your ablationist told you.  Too bad they were only able to get to one of the two pathways but hopefully, it sill does the trick for now.  Check out the af forum as there are many gladly sharing their AF ablation experience there.
