Chest Pain

I am a 52 year old female.  I have severe chest pain with a fullness that comes on at night and sometimes lasts until 5:00 a.m. in the morning.  I am up now with the pain.  The Cardiologist took a stress test and it checked out OK.
         I recently went to the hospital for surgery and my pre-opt (EKG) showed that I had a heart attack.  I saw a cardiologist but he confirmed I had another condition that mimics a heart attack but I did not really have one.  Any suggestions as to what tests I can ask for to find out about the chest  pain at night I am having - My Internist gave me anxiety pills to take when the chest pain comes on BUT I don't like to take them.

And it'snot digestive in nature? My husband has acid reflux and has the most trouble at night when he lies down. The acid tends to back up his esophagus and give him pain. He has to take meds for that but at least he's sleeping better.
