Chest Tightness & Breathing Difficulty

For the past weeks I have experienced a variety of weird symptoms from bloody diarrhea (which I had a colonscopy done revealing nothing abnormal in the colon), loss of appetite (w/significant weight loss of 15 lbs in about 2 1/2 weeks), some lightheadedness, fatigue, feeling weak and the the feeling as if my someone is sitting on my chest that makes breathing more difficult.  I have been to see an endocrinologist that has ruled out any thyroid problems.  He also did a complete blood workup on me and they came back fine.  I have been to a cardiologist that did a EKG and an Echo and everything looks fine.  I am scheduled to do a stress test this afternoon to rule out coronary heart disease.  I have also been to a pulmonary doctor who did a CT on my lungs and they look very healthy.

Any ideas what might be wrong with me?

Hi Julie,

That is a tough one.  I am not sure what to tell you.  If your EKG, echo, and stress test are normal, that would certainly help rule out cardiac problems. They are doing the right tests.  Have you seen a rheumatologist?

I think when I had an elephant sat on my chest, EKG will show LBBB.  Normally, dr will tell his patient "Fine, nothing wrong" with showing LBBB on the EKG.  Just my own dicovery.

Forgot to mention.  My cardio said that coffee can open up the tightness of the chest if I got luck.  I think the doctor should do more research on this.
