Chronic fast heart rate and low blood pressure

I have always had a very fast heart rate and normally low blood pressure. My resting heart rate averages 95 bpm. And my blood pressure averages 90/60 to 95/65. I tend to get momentarily lightheaded if I stand up quickly. My weight and bmi are in the normal range for my height. A doctor told me as a child that my heart is working too hard which might be problematic in the future. I also have poor circulation. When in a colder climate, my hands and feet would turn blue/purple and sometimes white (I think it was called Renaud's syndrome in which the cold causes the arteries to spasm). But I am now in a warm climate and have not had circulation issues. My question is whether I should be concerned about my high heart rate and low BP combination due to a higher risk of future heart disease? I probably cannot take anything that would simply slow my heart rate because I have low BP and my heart needs to pump that fast to get blood to my body. Maybe my heart is just inefficient?

For a young, trained female athlete, the numbers you gave are perfectly normal.  Nothing at all dangerous about them.

You do not give your age, but I would note that now much more is known about healthy heart functioning than was the case even ten years ago.

If you are concerned about your heart's condition, I would seriously recommend a treadmill test.

I haven't had a treadmill "test" but used to run regularly on the treadmill in college and would keep track of my heart beat. I just remember my heart racing dangerously fast. I forgot the exact numbers though... 160-190bpm maybe

As itdood says, the whole matter is very complex, and a lot more is known about the heart and blood pressure than even was understood not many years ago.

My dh and his mother both share fast heart rates.  She lived to 92 (with a total cholesterol of 315 on a lean day).  Numbers alone don't tell the whole story.  It's pretty individual.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever had a treadmill test?

There's a lot more to blood pressure than the force or volume of your heart beat.  It's very complex, many variables.   I don't think one could predict your future heart health based on the resting rate, and you BP alone.
