This is a situation where I would need to see the EKGs, but if they ordered a flecainide test, they were clearly looking to rule out Brugada and were confident with the result. Besides, even if the flecainide test was positive, you would still need other high risk features like a personal history of syncope and/ or a family history of sudden cardiac death. There is debate over whether people with a positive flecainide test and no symptoms need an ICD. The other option is to have a second opinion. I can not give you a definite answer without seeing the studies.
