Diabetic

My partoner is diabetic he,s been on Allopurinol for 5 years up until 5 weeks ago he was also placed on Accupril
to help his kidneys to filter all the rubbish that comes through them. He has sufferd since then very sensitive skin  like chafing and aching knees as they are swelling up.He stopped taking them in the hope that it would come back to normal but its not working , we are however back to the doctor to see what he can do to stop these rediculouse pains and sleepness nights and try to find comfort some way. Any advice from you right now would really be appreciative.
