Dizziness and nausea/vomitting

Dear Dr.Michael J. McWilliams,

I have RBBB with no other underlying heart diseases.
I wonder Is IT life-threatening on the long run?
I have got dizziness followed by vomitting every other weeks for about 2 months. I have lost almost all hearing in my left ear ans some in right ear. My left ear rings sometimes. I am 42 yrs old. My dizziness might be due to RBBB or any problem in my ear ?

Thanks for your  precious time.

Regarding your dizziness and recurrent nausea, google this:

Meniere's Synxrome

I think you will find some answers to your questions, and will be relieved to find that the problem is not with your heart.

Hello.

Dr. McWilliams quit working on MedHelp some years ago. The Heart Rhythm Expert Forum is still active, but there is a $20 fee. The doctor answering questions there is very clever (I asked him a question two days ago, and I got a qualified answer within 45 minutes).

This is a patient community, but I will try to answer your question (though you are free to post in the Expert Forum anytime to get an answer from the doctor).

RBBB is a normal variant in the absence of heart disease. About 10% of us are born with RBBB or incomplete RBBB.

RBBB will not cause any symptoms. Some people develop RBBB after having a heart attack or so, but RBBB itself is never dangerous. The problem with your ear / tinnitus is not by any chance related to RBBB.
