Dizzyness & Lightheadedness

I've been feeling very dizzy and lightheaded for the last 2 weeks.  It feels like someone is pressing my head down and I feel extremely off balance and lightheaded, and have tension in my neck muscles.  I also get massive headaches.  I don't feel like this all the time I just wake up like that in the morning and feel lousy all they, I can hardly pull myself out of bed and feel like I'm dragging my feet all day and feel like I am in a daze. It is the most terrible feeling, nothing I eat my me feel better.  Been to the doctor and he couldn't figure out what is going on, he gave me medicine for inner ear infection, I feel better when I take these tablets but as soon as I stop taking them a day later I feel sick again.  What could be the cause of this?

Have you had a check up with a cardiologist and a neurologist?  Does your doctor recommend any specialist?  You could also go to a ear, nose, and throat specialist.
