Doctor's advice please ?

Hi- I have a friend who's been suffering with palpitations for several months now. She's 30. She gets sharp, heavy chest pain intermittently . She feels very clammy and breathless.She always has very cold hands but since being started on Verapamil 2 weeks ago her left hand shakes uncontrollably. Is this a side effect of Verapamil ? She has poor circulation in the hand . She is unable to sleep due to the palpitations. Her resting heart rate can be 143 !! She is awaiting an appointment with a Cardiologist.She has had lots of blood tests, ECG's etc, but they cannot find a cause ? She has a moderate degeree of stress.  Waht could cause the shaking ?
