Does this sound like sinus tachycardia or related to something else?

For the past 2 months I have been battling these symptoms of what seems to be tachycardia. I can be sitting,  standing,  walking and my heart rate shoots through the roof at random. Its gone as high as 154.I've had many ER visits and sadly they don't do a thing but I am usually alone and scared when this happens and don't know what else to do. It does usually return to normal but it can be hours.  Its like my resting heart beat is non existent in this time. It'll be say,  73, 87, 101, 65, 95, shoot up to 130... Then goes down and bottoms out. So I had gallbladder trouble recently and had a stone in the duct and my dr was almost certain it was causing my erratic heart rate. So I had it out Tuesday and this is still going on. Blood pressure spikes too.  My bp was just 153 over 103 and I'm not so sure that was the problem anymore. So she had me reschedule my appointment and now I got to wait till September 13th to get in. Thats not real long... But long enough for me. It astonished   everyone that my blood pressure and rate can go normal for awhile then boom,  spikes and changes drastically. I'm scared that i have a serious problem and everyone's taking it lightly. Some of my ER visits did ekg and caught AFIB and some visits catch it completely normal. My dr still thinks its the gallbladder removal that the duct has to recover and go back to normal but I'm worried its a heart problem. Although I've never had a problem all my life with heart disease. This is sudden. Not sure if things can happen suddenly or not. But anyways I'm a 28 year old female. I was generally healthy and could go on a treadmill for 5 miles before this came about. I do have a family history but everyone was in their 40s and 50s. Sometimes it feels like blood pooling in my legs and my hands and feet all of a sudden feel like pin needles and my blood pressure and rate shoots through the roof. My blood pressure has been 200 over 197 at one crazy time. 170 over 144. Things like that. Then later goes back to normal. I am at a loss and don't know how much more I can take. Doctors shove me to the waiting room now because they don't think its serious. But its serious to me. Because I want answers.

I can't say for sure but this doesn't sound like simple sinus tachycardia.  It could be an issue with the autonomic nervous system or could be the afib or simply because of the blood pressure issues.  Is your Sept 13th appointment with a cardiologist?  I would think you would need to see one especially with your family history.   Your BP needs to be regulated in the minimum.  One of the causes of afib is unmanaged high blood pressure.  For now try to drink lots of water, watch anything that upsets the stomach, stay away from caffeine and sugar and carbs and see if it helps. Try vasovagal maneuvers to try and get your heart rate down when you feel it racing.  Hold your breath and bear down like straining to go to the bathroom or drink a very cold glass of water.  Try to calm and slow your breathing down.  Then do go see a cardiologist to get a full evaluation of your heart. An echo and maybe a monitor to catch what your heart is doing.  Best of luck and keep us posted on how it goes at the doctor.

Thanks so much for the advice. I noticed a new symptom today. It was so bad my phone was across the room.  I had to crawl to get to my phone because I had no strength to walk. My husband was outside. I was going to throw something at the window but had no strength in my arm to throw. Shortness of breath and my face started tingling and nose and lips. Yes my appointment with the cardiologist is on the 13th. Seems so far away for me having this for 2 months. I wore a event monitor all month long. It has gotten to where I'm scared to be alone and I have 3 kids. My husband works all evening and night.
There could be a little panic along with the other symptoms compounding the issue but it could also be due to high blood pressure.  Just try to stay calm and remind yourself you will be OK.  it will help calm your nerves and help you figure out your next step in the moment.  But it is important to get to the bottom of this.  You may want to invest in a home BP monitor and take daily readings morning, noon and night if you can to see how it is fluctuating and if food or other activities are affecting it.  If you start this now it may help the cardiologist in his efforts to figure out what is going on.  In the minimum I think they will appreciate your initiative and move things along quicker.  Also, do try to drink lots of water.  It will help the heart function better and if you have too much sodium in your diet it will help flush it out. If you do not take in much sodium though try, which isn't wise with high blood pressure just keep the water intake to the daily average so you don't over deplete yourself of sodium. But most people do not drink enough water. And certain drinks, especially sugary, caffeinated alcoholic drinks dehydrate us.  Hang in there.  My mom has really high bp spikes and has been for many years.  It isn't good if it stays elevated for long periods but in general they are not an immediate life threat.  Afib as well is not an immediate threat.  The bigger issue with Afib is when we revert back to normal rhythm but see the cardiologist to get a firm diagnosis.  Make sure you bring your hospital visits  records and your bp journal.  I'm around if you need to talk.  Take care.

Thank you so much,  I have a Facebook or an email and a phone number if you'd like it. I literally don't have many people to talk to about this most the reason is because no one understands or doesn't know how to help. I drink water all day long. I honestly don't eat enough though i dont know what to eat since I had gallbladder surgery and have to watch my sodium too. I take my blood pressure every chance I get. I woke up this morning and my rate was 110 upon waking.  Since my surgery ive noticed my resting heart rate has increased. It was low in the 60s now its like 99. I'm not really in pain although I have a 9mm kidney stone and my back gives me trouble. I go tomorrow to see what date the referral is for. I have a bad uti but cant take antibiotics as it has been messing with the arrhythmia .
Your heart rate may elevate because of high bp. What was your bp at?  I will send you a pm so I know when you want to talk.
