On my EKG it said early transition but should consider posterior infarct.  What does early transition mean?

Hi lindagean_54,

I don't really understand what is meant by "early transition" on an EKG, but did run across this information on wikipedia:

http://209.85.215.104/search?q=cache:jJOHTxAiCQIJ:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrocardiogram+EKG+and+early+transition&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=firefox-a

It's quite detailed, but perhaps it will make more sense to you, or one of our other members.  Wish I could be more helpful.  Hope you find the answer.

Take care
