EPS necessity?

EPS necessity?

Hello, I am a 40 yo healthy female with h/o MVP +1 with mod regurg reported on an echo 2 yrs ago. Last yr, I did a course of PPI's and this yr's echo showed having +2 with mod regurg. I have had asymptomatic PVCs for most of my life. Most of the family members have the MVP and syndrome, sticky blood, etc. We did a 24 hr halter study which revealed frequent PVC's, couplets and triplets with rates in the 150's-200's round the clock, independent of activity. (Are the couplets and triplets atrial or ventricular in nature?) The cardiologist is concerned and is sending me to an electrophysiologist for consultation. How concerned should I be for sudden cardiac arrest? How serious is this condition? And how much risk is the EPS that the physiologist is going to recommend, knowing the MVP syndrome issues? I've got an semi-extensive out of date medical background so you can get technical..... thank you.
