I have PACs myselft.  I hate it.  They scare me.  I did not have them or atleast feel them until the anxiety started after finding my partner dead on our couch.

hiya i got diagnosed with ectopic beats too and since then my anxiety has spiralled out of control i have a massive heart phobia,i get loads of symptoms surrounding my heart. im so angry that i have allowed something as simple as ectopic beats to ruin my life. i was diagnosed with them 8 yrs ago and i dont want the same to happen to you!!! the palpatations cause anxiety and anxiety causes palpatations its a vicious circle, everytime you get them say to yourself THEY ARE NOT DANGEROUS AND THEY WONT kILL YOU.
good luck  and try to ignore them

Sorry your having such a rough time...What came first, the chicken or the egg? This is an age old question, because I don't know if anyone knows.

It really is difficult to know if your anxiety is the trigger of your palpitations or your palpitations trigger anxiety. You know that they are benign...If you can determine that anxiety is the trigger, then this would be the first thing to start working on, to hopefully, reduce your symptoms. The best way you can determine this is maybe try keeping a journal. When you feel the palps. write down what you were doing, After some time you may be able to notice some kind of pettern. If you haven't already added it, there is the heart rhythm tracker that you could add to your profile. You could use this online tool to track symptoms.

I uploaded a photo yesterday..."101 ways to reduce stress" When our body is under stress, it affects every aspect of it. It is no secret that when people are "stressed out" they are increasing risk of heart attack. The first step for you to take is to acceptence that your ectopic beats, whether they're PAC's/PVC's, are benign. I know that sometimes that is easier said than done. It is natural for you to be a little hesitant to accept this when your heart feels like it is doing acrobatics in your chest.

I hope this helps you shed some light. Take a deep breath and relax...Here's to a stress free day:)
