Hi i read your post and am really confused as to why you are asking this question.  It for the patient it is not so much what the docs read which is very very important but what it is you are feeling that will be the telling factor.  I feel like i really want to help you with this and the only thing i think i can tell you to do is to google out American Heart Association and Myocardial Infarction/ECG/EKG. They will give you a pretty good laymans terminology of what the tapes read.  If we are talking minutes before a heart attack that is a little tricky because of what you would physically feel and may have preceded hours before and in the case of women sometimes up to a month before.  Maybe you could give us a little more information on why this has peaked your curiosity so that those in the community can step up and answer the question you really may have here.  Did something happen to you?  A family member?  Are you afraid you had a heart attack and they missed it?  Try to tell us a little more okay?
