Errata Holter Monitor

Errata Holter Monitor

I weigh 92 kgs (190 pounds), 6'5", no smoking, no alcohol, no caffeine.
I have been having palpitations and been treated with medication (Sotalol 40mg*2/day) for 12 months.  I stopped the medication in January & put a 24 hrs holter monitor after 6 weeks.  The reported results are as follows.

Summary:
Bradycardias: 0. Pauses: 0; RR Max 2.23 seconds. Relative pauses 3; longest 2.23 seconds. AF: Not calculated. ST: 1; 325 QRS, 0:02:24 at -2.8mm
Ventricular events: VPB 1(0%), Templates: 1.
Supraventricular events: SVPB 18(0%), Couplets: 1, Triplets: 2, SVPT: 0.

Conclusions:
* Basic rhythm shows normal sinus rhythm
* Heart rate ranged from 37 to 160 bpm, (Mean HR = 70 bpm)
* Episodes of sinus tachycardia were present, heart rate ranged from 124 to 160 bpm (? exercise related -- my answer: yes I climbed 99 stair steps going to office which I have been doing daily for the past 2 weeks).
* Relative pauses with a dropped P noted (Mobitz type 1 of second A-V block).
* PVCs were very rare, single beat noted (in comparison to 1240 beats in 02/1/2008)
* PACs were present, total recording were 18 beats, occurring sometimes in couplets and triplets. [02/1/2007 report was: PACs were occasional, total in recording were 14 beats]

I'm not sure if you have a question.  You data all seems like good news to me.  Are you saying you still have palpitations?  You mention stopping your medication.

Your HR range is rather wide, i.e., 37 is very low, even at rest.  How do you feel, do you get a dizzy spell when you stand from a sitting position?  Not trying to make up more symptoms...but the only number you have given us that looks anything like problematic is the the 37 HR.  Most of us never see anything below 60... for me below 70 is a rare experience..but then I have AFib driving mine.
