External Shock

Hello Everyone,

My father had to be externally shocked due to having a dangerous arrhythmia.  I am flying to see him in a couple of days and would like a heads up on how he is likely feeling and what he is going through.  Have any of you been externally shocked?  If so, i would like to kindly ask you to share your experiences.

Hi Josie My hubby was shocked twice over a period of a year. Both times with success. When the docs do it they sedate the patient so they don't know what's going on. Hope this helps.
