Extra heart beats

I have PVC's but it always was like a skipped heart beat.  Last night I felt flutters in my chest and took my pulse and I was having extra heart beats.  It was like 2 or 3 quick heart beats together then back to normal.  It only lasted a few seconds.  Is this a PVC too?
Thanks

Hello..Since you had the nuclear stress test, and holter 8 months ago...It is most likely a couplet occuring in the ventricle (2 PVC's in a row) If you were told that everything else seemed ok, than I wouldn't worry too much about this.

Of course, if you notice it occuring more frequently and your symptoms worsen, than a call to your Dr would be best.

I hope that it was something random and you never feel it again! :D

Thanks for answering.  I'm taking Atenolol for the PVC's and Lisinopril for high blood pressure.  I had an EKG and nuclear stress test and also wore a holtar monitor for 24 hours about 8 months ago.  They said I had 900 pvc's in 24 hours and everything seemed OK.

Hello...

If you felt 2 of these quick beats together, it could have been a couplet. Whether they were PVC's or PAC's cannot be determined if it was not seen on a monitor or rhythm strip.

Are you taking any medication for your PVC's?
