Failed two ekg test for a pre-op for knee surgery

by kp5, Oct 11, 2009 12:21AM
I took two EKG's as part of a pre-op for knee surgery.. They did the surgery , but nothing more was mentioned about the EKG results.  What should I do?

Have you been examined by a cardiologist?  If not, sounds like it is time to do so.

I have no idea what "failed ekg" means... I assume it means one or more abnormalities were found.  Some abnormalities are not treated, i.e., we just live with them.  This is something you need to discuss with a doctor, preferably a heart specialist.
