Hi everyone...I hope your weekend has been great (and calm, heart-wise!) so far.
I had an EP study on March 28 during which they discovered I had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. The doc was able to ablate thankfully. Both before and after though, I've been dealing with frequent PVCs (and possibly PACs...not sure). I've gone through the major work-ups over the past 7 months or so...EKGs, Holters, event monitors, stress echo, stress test, CTA coronary...all ok except for frequent PVCs and PACs.
Recently, I often feel a kind of "pressure" build up in my chest, particularly on the right side. When this happens, I can feel my pulse very distinctly on the right side of my chest. I even feel the thumps and bangs of PVCs there, much like some of you probably feel them in the center or left chest and even stomach sometimes (me, too). When the pressure gets real bad, the whole right side of my body and especially the right side of my head feels pressured and usually painful. The really strange thing is if this happens when I'm lying down, particularly on my right side, I'll sometimes get what feels like phlegm or fluid in my throat.
Have any of you had a similarly weird experience? Any ideas as to what it might be?
I've heard possibly vasospasms...or maybe complex migraines (but what about the pressure and pulsations in the right chest with that diagnosis?). But with the fluid in my throat, could the lungs be involved somehow...maybe placing pressure on an artery? I'm at a loss...and, of course, getting more and more nervous. Thanks for your time and thoughts!
Greg
