Flecainide for diabetic type II and RA patients?

Flecainide for diabetic type II and RA patients?

I have just recently been placed on Flecainide, 50mg x every12hrs
because I had 2 episodes (3months apart) of SVT.
I am 64 yrs. old and have no heart disease---but----
I have Type II diabetes  AND  Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Help!     It's only been 3 days----but, my BP and blood sugar
are ALL OVER the place!

I am on Norpace, 100mg. every 12 hours.  I also have type II diabetes.  I read that it will drop your blood sugar and mine is lower, which is a good thing for me.  I also have gastric distress and bloating from it, so I really don't want to eat much, which is not so good.  My bp seems higher since I've been on the Norpace.  I am also still taking Atenolol, so that keeps my heart rate lower, tho I've needed less of it.  I think all the anti-arrythmics have side effects.  I've been on this 2 weeks and some of the symptoms are lessening -- I guess my body is adjusting.

Hope this helps -- good luck.
