Hey Cam28. I am also a 28yo male. I have had SVT for about 18 months and deal with similar issues. I sometimes get a bit of a jolt when I stand up too fast. This can sometimes be a symptom of POTS, but check with your doc. In regards to lying down, is it only when you lie down on your left side? I have this as well. Not sure why. i have been meaning to bring it up with my doctor. My biggest problems by far comes when drinking alcohol. I have suddenly developed an intolerance to drinking as it gives me palps (never used to).
a kind of have this condition too, like when im sleep sitting up in a chair, when i wake up my heart is beating really hard and fast. i had a ecg before, but it was about four years ago. it came back fine, but i also have palpitations as well. if you mhave any information please let me know, thanx
I would suggest asking your cardiologist for a holter monitor to check whats going on. Your dr can get a glimse of 24 hrs of what your heart is doing and how fast your heart is beating during these periods. Good Luck!
