I have recently been drinking coconut water every night as one of many different attempts to prevent Atrial Fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) coming on during the night. So far so good, but it needs to work for many months before i can draw any confidence that it may be working. I will let you know. I happen to love the taste and could drink gallons of the stuff - maybe that's my body telling me something. On the other hand, don't want to get Potassium overload as pointed out by Debbier.
I tried it once - not as a remedy, just curiosity - and it gagged me! lol
I may start to drink it regulary for a two week period...see how it goes.
@debbier - my sister said that my potassium may be too low, hence why she recommended coconut water. In the UK, it will cost me £0.80p for a 330ml carton, which isnt too bad.
I will try this method out...and will update in two weeks.
Many thanks
K.
Coconut water, nature's sports drink, is packed with vitamins and minerals including vitamin C, vitamin B6, calcium, potassium, sodium, and magnesium. It is a natural isotonic drink used to rehydrate the body and is similar to human plasma (blood).

Cocunut water is high in potassium and if your potassium is too high it could cause palpitations.
Everything works differently for everyone. I could see how coconut milk could reduce palpitations if there cuased by low magnesium and potassium.
I read this community almost every day and I don't recall ever seeing anything on Coconut Water... so you may be the "test case". If it isn't too expensive or have any side effects it seems worth a try given you have one recommendation.
If you learn something it would be good to share on this Community.
