I have been diagnosed with atrial fibullation and have had a echocardio scan - waiting for results. I have a pain in the back mid ribs which comes on with excess exercise, like climbing two flights of stairs. Can this be heart or lungs causing this? The pain goes off after an hour or so.
I suffer from AFib and do not have any pain associated with it, other than the "pain" of muscles that seem to be suffering from a lack of oxygen when subject to heavy loading, e.g., climbing stairs or walking up hill. The discomfort I have stops as soon as I stop putting the load on the muscles.
