Heart Flutters and Burping Related? Scared....

Background: I am a 25 year old female, 130 lbs, 5'3", don't smoke, could eat better, could exercise more. Since I was about 17 I have experience fluttering sensations in my chest (usually right between breasts under breastbone). I have had an echo done, EKG, holter monitor, stress test, and blood work done. My doctor says she is not concerned that it is a cardiac problem. However, some days recently I have experience a "flutter" every 5 minutes! Usually accompanied with these flutters I burp alot, have heart burn, and have acid regurgitation in my throat. I am wondering if the flutters are causing the acid reflux, or if the acid reflux could be causing the flutter? Could they be related? Do I still need to worry about a heart condition? Are they heart flutters at all, or esophageal "flutters?"  Any advice?

I'm 22/F around 5'8" and about 245lbs (Some of that is muscle! I swear!) <_<;

Recently, within the last six months, I started to experience periods of excessive belching and during those periods my heart will flutters for a few minutes! It's really scary because every time it happens, the first though on my mind is always:

"Oh GOD! Heart Problem!" D=

The belching always comes before the flutters and always when I am at my most relaxed, either reading a book or about to fall asleep. Never when I'm moving around or actually under stress.

I haven't gone to a doctor yet, as that requires saving up some dough, but I really, really, REALLY hope it is something as simple as indigestion and not a heart problem.

My father also has occasional fluttering but now we are no longer sure if it is then genetic or if he's experiencing a side effect of the damage caused by his allergy medicine.

RE: Burping and heart flutters.  I have all the same symptoms you have.  First:  My tests showed an irregular heart beat or "arryhthmia".  The doctor also said, this is nothing to worry about.  The flutter usually lasts a couple minutes.  Longest flutter went for 30 minutes.  I have found that more often than not, I am tired or stressed or full of food when these occur.  Also occurs when laying down on my left side.  The doctor explained that most irregular heart beats are not serious and my be "PAC"s.  The heart does not race, but rather it feels like you skip a beat, which in fact is an early beat with a gap.  If you check your pulse during this feeling, you may find what feels like a delayed heart beat.  Feels scary, but my Dr. assures me it is ok.  Often indigestion, etc, can be a result of stress.  If you are experiencing stress, work on that first.  It has so many bad spin off affects.  There are many great books including "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle.
Good luck and all the best.
