Heart RATE slower after exercise?

Im not sure if this is the place to ask this, so I will post elsewhere also. Years ago (15 or more) when I had my first stress test the cardiologist said "hm, your blood pressure drops during exercise-interesting" Well, now years later I got quite ill and did nothing for over a year and I wanted to start exercising again, but I have a weird question. My resting pulse is anywhere between 65-85 literally its always up and down and I am in lousy shape. But when I started to exercise I felt fine-but didnt feel my heart pounding or working hard like i usually do just to walk around because I am in such horrid shape. Anyway, I thought it strange that I felt nothing--not too tired, no pounding, no faintness, nothing, so after about 10 min. (told you I am not fit) I felt tired and stopped. I took my bp and it was 92 over 65 which is ok for me, but my pulse was 63. How can my pulse be lower after exercising than when I am resting? Sometimes I think everything with my heart is related to my brain that malfunctions. Or MVP syndrome?
