I swear i hate those energy drinks...they are soooo bad for you/us. They do exactly what the label says they will unfortunately there are no warning labels on those cans. Your heart reacted exactly how i would think it would....one after another? Its like that country western song...."What was i thinkin'?" You put your heart into overload and it was telling you it didn't like it and to back off. You may as well as sat down and done 20 shots of expresso in 10 minutes. Energy drinks speed up absolutely everything in your body, illness, mind, physical body, etc. Your heart is meant to go at a steady 70-120 not higher and you forced it to do something it didn't want to do. I would guess that you aren't tolerating caffeine, sugars, etc. since because it has to re set itself back into its normal pattern of electrical activity and this could take a little while......this is where my grandpa said "youth is wasted on youth" because when we're young we have this thing we do of walking right to the edge and jumping without knowing what the outcome would be....we've all done it but now you have to fix it....give your heart a little vacation and stay off of the energy drinks and caffeine for a couple of weeks and let your heart re set itself and if it doesn't you need to make an appt. with a doc to make sure it isn't anything else....keep us posted it would be interesting to see how this one turns out.....
There is too little information to have anything but more that some reactions:
1) don't consume caffeine/sugar, or limit it to a minimum/small amount
2) have your heart checked if a low caffeine/sugar diet doesn't solve the palpitation problem.
