Heart rate problem,too fast,then irregular

Im 38 years old and have had this problem with my heart doing weird things for nearly 2 years now.It gets faster and then irregulates with heart palpitations that are so strong that its really scarey.Ive had the heart holter on and they didnt detect anything too abnormal.Its alot worse when i try to sleep or lay down.I find that i dont sleep at all nowadays because of this problem.Please help if you know anything.

Hi there.It showed that at night it was a bit up and down but nothing they were too concerned about.I also had to wear a blood pressure monitor for 24 hrs and that showed that my blood pressure was quite a bit higher during the night also.The day i wore the monitor i happened to be having a good day so i didnt really feel anything too noticeable.If im very stressed or under the weather its really bad.Recently these past 2 weeks have been alot worse but i have had alot of family problems.
