Help EKG Readings

Dr-

I need help with my interpretations.  The Doctor in ER didn't seem overly concerned, when I asked a ton of questions about my EKG. Am I in the danger zone with these numbers?

Rate 92......sinus rhythm.............................normal P axis, V-rate 50-99
Consider left atrial abnormality.....................wide or notched P waves
PR  156.....................................................borderline left axis deviation.......QRS axis (-15, -29)
QRSD 78
QT 360
QTc 446

---AXIS---
P............37
QRS.......-17
T............34
-----------------------------------otherwise normal ecg------------------------------

PLEASE HELP ME!  IS THE DEVIATION AND LEFT ATRIAL ABNORMALITY CRITICAL?
MY LAST STRESS TEST WAS NORMAL WITH SIGNS OF HYPERTENSION CONDUCTED MAR/07.  SHOULD I GO BACK TO CARDIO WITH THESE FINDINGS?

It sounds like a pretty normal EKG.  EKGs are not very sensitive at picking up left atrial size.

I would focus more on risk factor reduction -- treat any underlying hypertension, diabetes, don't smoke, exercise and watch your diet.  These are things that you can control and are productive places to focus your energy.  Your EKG sounds relatively normal would not typically generate a cardiology consult -- grant it, it easier to see the EKG and interpret it than to read the numbers.   EKG machine interpretations are often wrong any way.

I hope this helps.  Thanks for posting.
