HEART RHYTHM COMMUNITY
Hey Everyone!

Hey Everyone!

Well, it's been about 2 months since I've been on, and it's been crazy. I started back to school in late August, and my first day with students was also the first day of my Master's Program. I'm also the new team leader for my grade level, and am now teaching the gifted and talented class which is a huge adjustment. 2 weeks after school started, I got strep throat (500 mg of rocephin)...5 days later a terrible ear infection (1 gram of recephin, couldn't walk), 3 days later...pink eye that lasted 8 days (2 different types of antibiotics), 3 days after that, vertigo, and for the first time ever, a cycle that lasted 12 days...pretty sure I needed a transfusion. Needless to say, my poor heart doesn't know what the heck is going on. Those crazy beats, dizziness, SOB, skips so bad that when it does start back up, my entire head feels like it's on fire from the heat. I hope everyone on here is doing well. I think about you guys often, but am not even getting enough sleep with everything going on, can't seem to get to this site. I had to make time tonight to see how everyone was doing. I guess I will continue to skip away, feel my pulse in my feet, be dizzy, and feel terrible, and hopefully keep trucking along. I finally got my dream car too, Candy the Camaro is a beauty and has alleviated some of my fears of driving. She's so much fun to drive, I sometimes forget about everything else. Here's to you all feeling good!

Ouch, what's that all about ??  Sorry you've had so many health hits, surely makes it more difficult to deal with the heart acting up.

By comparison I have been doing well, just the permanent AFib, but my wife has had a bad year, everything from cancer to ulcer/stomach problems. We think she is pulling through on all these, and has been given a cancer free from her oncologist.  Still, I think the stress associated with other illnesses can put a  strain on our heart, even it the other health issues are in someone else.

Hope you see better health and enjoy your Chevy, great you could buy a USA made car, our economy needs the business (same for the rest of the world it seems).

It's good to see you back. That's just too many germs hitting you all at once. I guess once the strep came, all the others took advantage of you. Good for you going for the Masters program. My daughter just finished hers (her capstone project) this week. That's so hard to juggle all of life's responsibilities and get your Masters at the same time. Be sure to take time to rest. You'll need it.

As for me, same old whacky heart, lots of premature beats and tachy bursts lately. But stress gets to me. My elderly mom is getting more forgetful and confused. Her new doctor told her she shouldn't be living alone but she refuses to consider assisted living. That puts pressure on us to take care of her and her home. Kind of tiring. Oh well.

Hope you can pop in again soon.
