High Phosphorous level in my blood test.

by gshanereid, Nov 06, 2009 05:26PM
Hey guys, I have been putting up alot of post lately about my heart. I used to run 2 miles and ride a bike for an hour everyday. I was extremely fit. I took a product called N.O. Xplode to assist my workout. I started worrying N.O. Xplode was gonna destroy my body so I stopped taking it and started worrying. After about two weeks withouth N.O. Xplode I started having heart palpitations every time I stood up off the couch. I instantly started worrying I damaged my heart. So I went to the hospital and they did an EKG. The EKG came up normal and they did blood test, the blood test said I had high protein and high cholesterol. I am 6'2 160 lbs 18 years of age. They said the high cholesterol was because I drank a glass of milk prior to the test. So they ordered me to take another blood test a week later. I just got the results back from my last blood test. Everything is normal but I am high in phosphorous by .1 so barely high but still. Also its key to add the doctor diagnosed me with a anxiety disorder. Health anxiety to be exact, I just worry alot about my heart. For about a week I could hardly get up off the couch and now I'm slowly getting back to exercising, only I have skipped and irregular heartbeat throughout my exercise which sends me into a worrying craze.

Sorry I can't offer any easy answers, but getting a hold of your emotions would surely help.  Try distractions,  day dream or fantasies if needed to get you mind off of your heart.

At your age and apparent physical condition it is very unlikely that you have any heart problems.  Try believing that - knowing there is a low probability of being in an airplane crash helped me through a career that involved frequent travel, including long-long international flights.  I know positive though works.
