High heart Rate

hello, im a 23YO male living in Layton Ut.
I have recently been to the Dr. a few times and he told me that my heart rate has been around 120 all 3 times. so he asked if anyone in my family has had a thyroid disorder, and I told him my brother just recently had a problem with his where he had to take a radioactive pill to take care of it. anyways, he took a blood test and told me that my cholesterol is great (152) but my thyroid was also fine, 1.39. and he told me he didnt know what else to tell me to do. so im asking, is there a test I should have done? is there a significant risk to having a resting heart rate around 110-130? I am also tired all the time, I ocasionally have shaky hands, dry itchy skin, poor memory... these are symptoms of a thyroid disorder, but since my count is fine, I dont know ... any help you could give me would be of SO much help! thanks so much!

If you resting HR is consistently over 100 I think you should consult a cardiologist.  This may lead to the need for a monitor to record you heart activity over a period of time, from 24 hours to a month.

Some people have problems with HR and BP measurements in the doctor office, seems being in the doctor office raises their anxiety and thus their BP and HR..
