High heart rate after exercise

Hi, I have a QS wave in V1 and V2.  My heart rate stays up for 6 to 8 hours after heavy exercise.  I have no ischemic heart disease.  Is there any drug that will make the hemispheres beat in coordination and allow my heart rate to return-to-normal, normally?

I  think what you need to do is sit down with a doctor, possibly cardiologist, so they can know the specifics.  Resting heart rates, peak heart rates, and how long it takes to slow down.  It is also helpful to know if you have a structurally normal heart on echocardiogram.  I assume you have had a cath or a negative stress test since you mention no ischemic heart disease.  It is difficult to know what the QS in V1-V2 means.  Certainly there should be a small R or r wave, but it if you heart is otherwise structurally normal, it is tough to say if that is even relevant.

Increased recovery time after exercise is thought to be caused by deconditioning or withdrawal of the component of your autonomic nervous system that slows down your heart rates.  There is not a specific treatment for the later cause but it is important to reduce your overall cardiovascular risk factors.

There is no magic bullet pill that will do this.

I hope this helps.  Thanks for posting.
