How many times can they do the catheter ablation?

Does anyone know typically how many time the doctors will try to fix WPW with catheter ablation?  I have only read of as many as 3 and we are now on the 3rd one, and what do they do if they can't fix the situation?

I was zapped three times   no response. This is after my first ablation and my  cardiologist told me I have ran the on all meds  Shall I do it again

I'm not sure if there's a limit. Perhaps the real question is how many RF applications can they do to the heart. I've had 38 burns total. I'm sure there are others out there with more.

I suppose if the ablations won't zap it into control, there are meds available. Not as much fun but they can help. I'm back on Diltiazem for now to control my chest pains and increased tachy times until my Dad passes away and things settle down. I don't like the pill but it does help.
