How often should we have echo'cardiograms when we have PVC's

ljd
I was just wondering how often we should get an echocardiogram?  I have had one 2 years ago and now have PVC"s.  Two cardiologists don't feel the need to repeat any of my tests.  They feel the echo, stress test, and ct scan from 2 years ago show I have a structurally normal heart.  Should I be pushing for more tests?

Thanks for your responses.  I guess I am in the "freaked out"  cycle this week.  I know it will pass.  I am so glad we have this forum.

I get one every 3-5 years now or if I put up a fuss.  It is always structurally normal no matter what horror I feel I'm living with or no matter if the PVCs feel differently.  The echo doesn't really show any reason for an abnormal electrical system, ie reason for your PVCs unless they are from MVP anyway.  The only thing they use is for is to make sure your heart is "structurally normal."  The only other interesting thing to me is the EF and the last time they didn't even GIVE ME ONE on the report.  They just said "normal."  The best thing for PVCs is an EKG, or holtor and you can almost always talk your way into one of those if you really feel the need.
