How to Read Holter Results

Underlying Rythum is Sinus Rythum Average Heart Rate 60, Minium 50, Maxium 112.
For a 45 yr old Non-Smoker,Non-Drinker,History of PKD,High Cholesterol 245, how bad are these results?

From the results you posted, they are all good. It means that your heart was in normal sinus rhythm, highest rate was 112, lowest was 50 with an average of 60. If you have a complete report you may see that the period your heart rate was at 50, was probably when you were sleeping. Again, this is usually the normal. Some people dip into the 30's and 40's when sleeping.

Was the holter for routine testing or were you having symptoms that prompted your Dr to do one?

Out of curiosity, what are you doing to lower your cholesterol?

Thanks For the feedback, I had a bad arrythmia last year however I feel maybe it was induced after I sucked fumes in a Diesel Benz Line I was tinkering with.I know I have an enlarged heart due to my HBP associated with my PKD.I had the Holter done for myself as I want to know hows the heart doing. As for Cholesterol it once was at 285,however I have found that Supershots Drinks work! I went on a Supershots Campaign drinking them about 2-3 a day and in about 6 weeks my Cholesterol dropped to 244.They have Plant Sterols? We'll they work! at least for me.I also started drinking 1 tablet of the Bayer with Heart Plant Sterols also.Trying to get my Cholesterol under 200.I made a promise to only eat Italian Foods on the 29th of every month my birthdate.Anyways, I may consider getting a Heart MRI Scan Those are really in depth.Your thoughts on that.
and again I appreciate the feedback..

Thanks Again,

Did you have an echo at some point that revealed an enlarged heart? Also, what meds are you taking for your HTN?

I would like to know more about the "Supershots Drinks" I am struggling to get my levels down. My levels aren't dropping even having had the Statin I'm on increased. My Dr has now heard a bruit in my right carotid artery and suspects some level of blockage which has prompted him to send me for a bilateral doppler study. Given my family history, my symptoms and his findings he said that he'd be shocked if it weren't at least 50% blocked.

As for a Heart MRI Scan, I suppose if your Dr feels that one is warranted and you have insurance to cover it, it wouldn't hurt to have a more in depth evaluation giving you peace of mind.
