Hello...

This is most likely the Brachial pulse...this of course is my best guess. It may be nothing but if it continues, you should have it evaluated.

Do you have any risk factors for PVD (peripheral vascular disease)? or any other risk factors for heart disease?

Hello...

Could you explain this a little more? ie. Which arm, where in the arm, is it a pulsating sensation, fluttery sensation, is it noticable more after certain activities?

Just trying to get more info to better answer this question:)

Hello, did you find out what this was /caused by? Just wondering because I’ve been experiencing the same for 3 weeks now
So, pulse can be felt by many in your upper arm.  Is that where you are feeling this, Steve? However, there is something called thrombophlebitis.  Thrombophlebitis can be caused by one or more blood clots that causes inflammation in a vein.  It is most often felt in the leg but sometimes in the arm.  There are risk factors associated with it like being overweight, smoking, and other things.  Does this sound like you at all?  If it goes on for longer than a week or so, I'd go ahead and contact your doctor for evaluation.  It may just be your pulse though.  If it inflames or the arm swells, if you get a fever, you have severe pain, see your doctor right away.  And if you have unexplained shortness of breath, get to an ER to make sure there is no issue of a clot to your lungs. Those are really worst case scenarios.  But just wanted you to be aware.  Again, hopefully it is just your pulse.  Let me know.  https://www.webmd.com/dvt/phlebitis
Ok thanks. I have no other symptoms or conditions. I’m otherwise totally healthy, well besides the smoking. I will set up a doctors appointment, as I just turned 41 and probably should do it anyways. Thank you once again:)
No problem.  I hope you come back and tell us what the doctor says!
