Irregular Heart Beats

Female, 43 yo, 30 pound overweight.  Experiencing flutter, and irregular heart beats for 5 years.

Normal EKG, normal colestoral, normal BP (110/70), resting hr 60 bpm, normal echo.

Wore 48 hour holter 3 years ago.  Recorded 1800 PAC, handful of PVC, and some bradychardia - heartbeat dropped to 35 bpm at night.

Problem - although the irregular beats were recorded, I never felt them. So I am left to wonder if what I do feel is the same as the PACs and PVCs or are these feelings I have attributable to something else entirely?

Question: Should I wear another holter monitor and hope to actually record the unusual flutters/beats that I have been feeling for the last five years?  It seems that the events are more frequent now - several times a day, at least.

I also experience slight twinges in my chest (very minor pains) from time to time and combined with the irregular heart beats, they cause me to worry.  Do you think they should be a cause for any concern?

I don't really have any stress in my life - with the exception of this.

Sounds like its time to visit with your heart doctor again.  

I do not have any personal experience, but I'd say if your symptoms are different there may be changes in how your heart is working.

This is well worth a check out by a medical doctor.
