Thank you for your question. I have around 600 VPC's every hour and it has been going on for a little over a year. Sometimes my heart will go a full 10 beats between VPC but usually only three or four between VPC's. I was on a calcium beta blocker for a year without any improvement. I have asthma but they are currently trying a beta blocker. The doctor seems not too concerned--maybe that is the way cardeologists work???

not unusual...some have a premature beat every other beat.
My last Holter (may 2009) showed 31 PAC's, 187 PVC's, 22 couplets and 2 episodes of ventricular tachycardia.
I guess I have a lot to go too.

I just had a 24 hour monitor. It showed 23.432 Ventricular Ectopic Beats with 46 Super VB's. So I've got 976 per hour so you have a bit more to go. I'm just wondering too just how many are to many. Avrage heart rate 68 BPM..and that's including a 2 mile walk.. Good Luck
Hi there (again),
I forgot to ask what kind of irregular heartbeat you are having. Are you having Premature Atrial Contractions (PAC's) or are you having Premature Ventricular Contractions? (PVC's)?
