Is this Heart related ?

Hello, 3 days ago i started to get this real sharp stabbing pain in the middle of my chest between the breasts . at first i thought it was gas  so i was taking anti acids . so far not helping . i did try and see what exactly is causing this . i thought maybe it was after i ate well it is but not all foods and its more during , i noticed hard crunchy food ide get a sharp stabbing pains, but i get them at any time of the day wether im eating or not . i also noticed  they are worse in the mornings they basically wake me up sometimes also  its like having contractions but in my chest ! i do feel a slight heaviness in the back of my neck and in my back . like ive got something leaning on me . Also when i get these pains sometimes it can take my breath away  because of the pain . also i noticed somtimes when i lay down i would get s sharp pain to. But all these pains they only last for 5 secs or so but comes in waves like a contraction. also i noticed a cpl of times after i get these spells my hands get sweaty and i feel light headed  ! can someone pls help me with this . i am a smoker , i drink vaighly . im a 33 yr old female . my father has heart disease  (chf ) dont know if thats considered the same  or not and he is only 54 yrs old ! i think he got it a few yrs ago

Hi, you mentioned you get the pain between your breasts.  Sometime gall bladder problems can radiate into the chest area.  Have you had your gall bladder checked?

Hi i read your post and it really doesn't sound heart related to me....CHF or congestive heart failure is not hereditary so don't lose sleep over that...your dads heart is his own as yours is and his situation could have been caused by alot of other situations as he lived his life.  As far as the lightheadedness and sweaty hands go that is a classic symtom of anxiety because you are upsetting yourself.  Some of the symtoms (symptoms) that you have described do actually sound like gallbladder issues as nancy said.  Some of the more classic symtoms (symptoms) are after eating something that has alot of grease in it or fried foods you can get pain in the shoulder and back that radiates, you may feel pain between or under the breasts mostly on the right side of your body, there is an old test that alot of people do at home which is when the pain starts if you drink a glass of milk and it goes away it is suspect of a gallbladder problem but there could be another issue here if you are suddenly lactose intolerant and it may set it off.  I would call your regular doctor and let them check you out but to me nothing you have posted really points to issues with your heart....make the call why suffer?

Cindy , oh trust me im not losing any sleep over if i have  CHF or heart disease !  and chf is congestive heart failer !  i think you ment heart disease  and yes  there are forms of heart disease that are hereditary and there are forms of heart disease that are not hereditary.
As for the lightheaded and sweaty hands i only got that a cpl of times and it was right after i got the sharp pain in the middle of my chest ! Anyways i was just asking if this may or may not be hearted related. As for the gallbladder i dont know much about that. and with the milk thing i ll try that and see ! but the pains go as fast as they come like i said they last maybe 5 secs . its just a very sharp stabbing quick pain then boom its gone  like i said it feels like a contraction in my chest !!!  Well thank you for your advice  and with the suffering ,im only trying to see if i can help myself first , then if i cant  then i know i need a doctor !!!  
When i get these sharp pains i can also feel them in my back . When i lay on my side i can feel it ,almost like im squeezing  my chest together . and like i said its not all the time or a constant pain , it goes as fast as it comes !!!
