That's a good BP now. Probably because you lost weight.
See a cardiologist. Considering your age it may be reversible but you need to make an appointment to see a cardiologist. Until then drink lots of water and see if that helps.
until my son was born someone please help me or something: (
can someone please be there for me I feel alone cuz my blood pressure stay like 80/-40 with a pulse that gets as low as 41 I feel so alone and the e r says to follow up Sith cardiologists and I'm just scared I just really need someone to relate to and be there for me I'm 22 3 months post partum and about one hundred and nine th pounds I just don't understand and I didn't start have nradycardia
I also have low blood pressure...even lower than yours. Lowest was 83/53 and did cause me some dizzyness and weakness. Nowadays it is around the 95/65 mark but can fluctuate. Rarely it goes over 110/70.
I had an ablation in October last year and before that my Bp was 120/74. My pulse then was always high, resting pulse was about 85 and when exercising could get up to 170 in an instant.
After the ablation resting Hr is around 65 and exercising 110-130 max. It still could be the fall out from the ablation, but then as Cindy says better to be lower than higher.
I have lost over 50lbs in the last year so this has also contributed to my blood pressure going down.
As cindy says, if you're otherwise feeling OK physically (no symptoms of shock, for example), low blood pressure is a GOOD thing, and your numbers are fine, just fine.
Also, you've lost some weight, and believe it or not, that loss of ten pounds and change probably had a significant effect on your blood pressure. The more so if you're a runner, as your name implies.
Absolutely anything can cause your b/p to drop including anti anxiety meds and anti depression meds....unless you have having symptoms trust me you want to have a blood pressure in the lower range rather then the opposite which can open you up to a world of hurt.....my blood pressure runs lower than that of yours at 97/62 and trust me i am relieved that it runs that low because it is not easing me into a world of hurt as high blood pressure does.....athletes tend to have a lower b/p then others altho i do not know if you fit that catagory...unless you are experiencing dizziness or other symptoms that your doc has told you to look out for i seriously would not be too concerned......good luck with this.
