Are you athletic?  I'm a runner with a resting pulse of around 54.  Your blood pressure is high and should be checked out.

Sueinns is right.  If you're a well-trained athlete, it's ok to have a pulse below 54.  If you're out of shape, though, it could be a sign of something wrong.

The low heart rate may be no big deal. Many healthy people have low heart rates. Mine is typically in the range 50-60 probably because of the meds I take. On the other hamd, your blood pressure is very high and should be treated.  You need to see a doctor as soon as possible and discuss these issues with him.  You may feel healthy now but the high BP will damage your heart eventually.

I'll just echo what others have said.  Your low pulse could be normal.  The blood pressure needs serious attention, those numbers are quite high.
