Low Blood Pressure and Pulse Readings

Hi...I've been taking my BP & noticed some readings which i thought were on the lower end of the scale:
    e.g. 101/57 and a pulse reading with a low of 45. Should i see a doctor?

Your blood pressure is just about perfect and the pulse rate is a little low but not if you are in good physical shape or are on blood pressure pills.  The meds make your heart rate drop but the bottom line is if you feel fine your readings really aren't alarming at all.  It depends on what you are feeling if you feel like yourself i wouldn't even worry about it at all...its a personal choice you make but if its been awhile since you've had a full physical exam i would make one w. my family doc just to make sure you really are in tip top shape.....because your readings are showing that......

hi there, i have always had low bp, it has reached down to 90/58 when i was pregnant, it varies between 120 and 98 now which is probably a good thing, as long as i dont start to go dizzy and faint my doctor says im fine, my pulse is normal except for the odd palpatation when i have a panic, if you have no other symptoms you'll be ok, its certanly better than being high

I wonder if we are all talking about our resting pulse rate.  I just think it's strange my BP and pulse rate has dropped so much in the past month.  Nothing changed for me including meds when this started.

Could my body just have changed?  I mean now the meds are lowered and my BP and pulse stays so low anyway.  This is really scary for me.  I do have skips.

Hi Chicky remember that meds take up to 6 weeks to saturate your system for optimum benefit....that may be why you are seeing a difference a month later and makes sense that now your readings are different....its normal......if you do have other symtoms (symptoms) now tho that you didn't have before i would call the doc tomorrow and see what he/she says...i wouldn'
t worry from what you are posting it sounds like the meds are doing their job......
