Low k+ and PVC's

Low k+ and PVC's

I had a stress test today because of shortness of breath, excessive sweating, tightening in my shoulder and arm. I also felt like my heart was racing all of the time.
The stress test showed that I had constant PVC's during rest and exercise (obviously I don't have all the results yet). I've been on an ACE inhibitor and diuretic for 20 years. Fifteen years ago I think I remember feeling like this (thought it was stress). The doctor found out that I had a low k+ and low mg++. He gave me supplements for this and I felt better within a week. I went off of them later when my blood tests show that my electrolytes were fine. Recent tests showed k+ was still ok.
Could messed up electrolytes cause PVC's? Does glucose also work in the electrolyte balance?

Yes, electrolytes can play a significant role.   Glucose as-well  per-se, but I do not know if electrolytes and glucose have any interactions.  Low glucose can cause heart arryhthmias.
