Began having SVT attacks about 6 months ago. Horrible symptoms: HR would spike in 200s, elevated BP, SOB, chest pain, tightness in chest and throat, heavy lump in throat, flushing, weakness, tingling and numbness in legs and arms...pratcially every known SVT symptom all at once. EP doctor diagnosed it as left atrial tachy. I am 6 weeks post ablation and feel much better. Ablation seems to be succesfful but dr said there were a few more spots that could give me trouble later down the road. Still have some chest pain and burning and get the tightness in my chest and throat but it goes away. However, I can't seem to shake the lump out of my throat. I feel like something is stuck in there all the time and I am worried that it will eventually close up and cut off my airway. Had thyroid checked and it was borderline but still w/in normal range. Has anyone experienced this lump in the throat feeling post ablation?
