hi i take rythmol also and i have horrible tastes in my mouth as well my cardio told me it was just a side effect but if it got to bad then he would prescibe soemthing else just wanted to let you know that yeah ur not alone on that one the taste is horrible
Any chance your doctor would consider a different medication? As I recall, rythmol is a sodium channel blocker, so maybe switchine to a different med would help. I've taken flecainide and rhythmol, but did not experience the metallic taste. I imagine that is pretty awful....
I did a little research on rythmol and found that an "unusual taste" is a reported side effect, so you are not alone...

I did take Rhythmol, but did not have the bad tastes from it. But, THANKS for posting so that the original posted can see that he/she is not alone.
