Monomorphic VT with polymorphic PVCs

Monomorphic VT with polymorphic PVCs

I had a treadmill stress test which showed monomorphic VT (8 second run) and frequent ventricular ectopy which was polymorphic in nature before the VT began. I don't have a diagnosis yet. So far all my tests are within normal range except two different treadmill tests. The second treadmill showed frequent ventricular ectopy.

I have had a heart cath., echo, cardiac MRI, etc. The doctor was looking for ARVD with the MRI. My VT is evidently exercise related. The doctor says it comes from the bottom of the right ventricle.

I have been to two EPs and I am currently wearing my second heart monitor for a month. I have been reassured it is not life threatening. The first EP thought there was a 65% chance of success if I had it ablated, but the second EP said he thought there was a zero percent chance. The first EP said I possibly have had this all my life, just didn't know it.

I have had several episodes of lightheadedness in the past, a grand mal seizure several years ago and several episodes of chest pain in the past. All of these are of undetermined cause.

I would appreciate any input.

I am wondering were you trying to ask this question in the experts forum section as you already have a very similar post from a few days ago?  At the top where it says forums choose the experts forums and post your question there if you are looking for more professional advice.

I was hoping if I rephrased the question I might get someone's attention and hopefully get some input. :)
But thanks, I had not noticed the expert forum.

I've been sick so I'm just seeing this.  I think part of this is phrased differently than I've read; so I'm a bit confused.  PVC's are unifocal or multifocal and VT is monomorphic or polymorphic but you have polymorphic pvc's?

Have you asked ITdood or Is_something_wrong? Multifocal pvc's aren't always dangerous but polymorphic VT is I believe...still a bit groggy on meds so hopefully one of them will clear this up. Both dr's said what you have isn't dangerous?

I was under the impression, P-VT esp with exertion like exercise is very dangerous and can cause syncope and other issues including Vfib.

Do you have a scanner to scan your test results and post in your pictures?

If it is P-VT I would be getting another opinion and asking why the dr said it's not dangerous because PVT can deteriorate into VFib (what I've just gone through again) and needs a defibrillator implanted.
